Was passing through recently and stopped for something to eat . Lovely place lovely setting menu was ok but seemed to be trying to be a little fancy for a small rural town (personally I would prefer my meal on a plate not a paddle ) other than than that food was good. only one thing that would stop me... Popped in for a bite to eat just before 9pm. Got good speedy service unfortunately any spare tables were bogging dirty and only two wait servers. Food was served 12 minutes after ordering which was impressive only downside chips were half perfect and half hard, champ was lumpy, burgers were very oily, servers seemed more interested in getting food out... As a couple we enjoy eating out and decided to avail of new menu in the mayfly inn. Food was fantastic that is not the reason for my review. . I've been to quite a few restaurants and bars and yet the behaviour and language of the barman in the mayfly inn just beggars belief. . Foul dirty language and... More

Popped in for early bird dinner, chicken wings and Caesar salad to start, came with homemade bread selection. Steak and gammon for mains, great flavours and amazing portions! Shirley made us very welcome and catered for gluten free! Highly recommend if you're visiting Kesh 😊

First visit back this year with the family always enjoyed the food in the mayfly but they have excelled themselves with the new makeover and menu. Presentation was lovely with some nice wee touches . Service as always excellent and great value for money.

Went here as an alternative to dining on Lusty Beg. Staff were fantastic and the steak meal was cooked to perfection. Also one of the best pints of Guinness i've ever had. Will be back

Stopped here for an evening meal and returned the next night it was that good. Helpful friendly staff especially Shirley who couldn't do enough for us. Steaks were cooked to perfection with a big portion of champ or chips, onion rings and garnish. Excellent value on a Thursday as its steak night and only £10 can't wait to return

We had been recommended to eat at the Mayfly and we were not disappointed. We had 4 Steak dinners, cooked to perfection. Mushrooms & onion rings & loads of chips. It was so nice. The deserts were gorgeous. I would certainly return if I was in the area again. The staff were lovely and friendly. What more could you ask... More
