Difficult to get a table before 21:30, but when arriving it was almost empty. The meat is OK but way lower that other wagyu meat. The service is fine, but they served some rice in a very hot bowl and didn't warn us about that....More

A perfect place for enjoying the evening with a self cooking BBQ. Meat absolutely high level, good taste, tender... No defects.

This is like a Korean bbq but with Japanese steak! Wasn’t the best wagyu we had in Japan but it was a fun night and the meal was still pretty delicious. This place gets busy so book in advance!

We came here as a group of six friends, and had a fantastic evening. We got the recommended set, and the food was incredible. We were worried at the amount of meat they gave us on the first plate and were about to order more,...More

The waiter encouraged us to order the biggest set menu (5,000 Yen/'pax) which looked in the photo way too much for both my wife and I. (Restaurant rule is all customers must order the same set menu and not just one or different sets). So...More

I'll get my one complaint out of the way first - the website makes it look like this place is very traditional inside, with dark wood, low tables, etc. I was expecting a very "Kyoto-like" traditional vibe but that ends once you come to the...More

We were looking for a quality yakiniku dinner and found it here. The place was recommended in the community, this shop being one of the more reasonably priced ones (I understood the chain also has more upscale places). We lived nearby so I simply walked...More

Went there without reservation and there weren't many places left. We took meat menu which had several different kinds of meat. We had little problems because this was the first time for us in a place where you barbeque your own food. Staff were friendly...More

My brother and I went here for dinner and shared the daily special, and had two beers and a sake. Total bill was about 14,000 yen. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and hopping with locals. Highly recommended if you like beef and enjoy grilling your own...More

City Center
No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its
blended nature as the City Center. By day, the covered

bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to
peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home
goods offerings. When it grows dark, the City Center
is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and
