A wonderfully executed kaiseki dinner. We did multiple of these during our visit to Japan and this one was our top experience. Things that stood out: a very well thought out menu, wonderful explanations of the origins of each ingredient and the overall dish, stellar...service (including pictures as souvenirs). As an additional bonus the whole staff's English level was superb.More

This may have been the best meal I've ever had. The combination of flavor, creativity and narrative about the food and it's origins made it a truly special experience. Poetry in food

I would rate this as a top ten meal of my life! Private dining with a master chief who takes a humble pride in his craft. We had a tasting menu with a sake pairing that was amazing! I would highly, highly recommend dining here....It is an experience like none other and I would rate it higher than Michelin starred restaurants. So impressive!More

This place was very authentic. The chef and staff had excellent service and it has a very intimate clean environment to fit maximum 6 people. Price point also fit the food and service. We had the full course meal with sake pairing.

A carefully constructed and beautiful meal. The chef was quite directive (and perhaps a little impatient?!) initially but warmed up as the evening went on. The signage for the restaurant is discrete in the extreme so do look very carefully!

My wife and I had a great time at Ise Sueyoshi! The food was outstanding, the chef engaging and thoughtful in his curation of food. We could not have asked for me for one of our first dinner experiences in Tokyo!

This was a totally wonderful dining experience. The food was of exceptional quality and beautifully presented. As I sat at the chefs table, I was able to see these delightful courses being created. If you ever wondered what food can taste like right from the source, full of love and care, you need not look further than Ise Sueyoshi. Besides being absolutely incredible taste wise, the restaurant was equally incredible for its ambiance as the small intimate feel...conjures up what can only be described as a family home. I would recommend this restaurant first and foremost in all of Japan.More

Chef Yuuki had spent his time and effort in explaining his dishes and why he curated them to us, including every sake that he chose to pair with the dish. Every dish is delicious and beautiful. We enjoyed our meal very much.

Exceptional. Attention to detail on every level, food and sake pairing was some of the finest I've tried 👌 13 courses, each very different but combined remarkably well. Very obvious that chefs take great pride and care in what they do. The story of each...ingredient told through the pages of the book was a wonderful touch. Highly recommend this place, you won't leave disappointed. We will return for another experience when we are next in Tokyo.More

Their website (in the reservations section) says “Please refrain from using high school children.” I assume that means you have to be college-age or older to dine there.
