Prices are a bit high, but the meals are very filling, in fact, almost difficult to finish everything on the plate. While the name is Bavarian the food is German and Polish, so those who are after pierogi will find them here. They have a winery within the venue, with reasonable wines for sale.

Passable food, pricy. Can you believe it?--they charge for the leftovers box. Good grief! First time in my life.

Its good that I didn't read any reviews about this place, and just stopped to lunch spontaneously. After one week of experiencing very ordinary food at Gold Coast restaurants, this one was quite special. Yes, it is expensive, but very nice food and good atmosphere. Their "Chef's special" is a great plate of meat, with small sides of mashed potatoes... More

The Place looks lovely from the road but the gardens and water at the back of the property (which you see when you are eating) are overgrown and brown murky water. The restaurant still had old Christmas decorations which were falling down and crudely wrapped around beams to prevent this. There were no fans and it was uncomfortablely hot. We... More

Just had dinner for the first time here I had been looking forward to it for a while. First the place is kinda cool and looks the part. The staff didnt have any energy and was just really there to take our orders nothing more. We would have through a place like this (like most German places) that the staff... More

Stopped off for lunch after visiting the mountain. Had the platter and it was excellent. Spent over 20 years in Germany and the pork Knuckle was as advertised one of the best I have had. Loved the place and will go back.

Today was the last time we will stop there to have a meal. The food is average as if just re heated. The worst part is that the cook decided t not to serve sauercraut but replace it with some god awful green cabbage mush. Shameful.

Arrived around 7:15pm for dinner and was told they had stopped serving. Had a beer instead. Only 2 on offer. Service not too good and when I looked at the menu I was glad we didn't eat here. Very pricey considering the ingredients!! Won't be coming back.
