We didn't end up eating here but everyone looked like they were enjoying their food and everyone we asked back in town said they had really good food. It is about 10minutes South of Denali and a beautiful little trip. The restaurant is very small and quaint and has nice views. We didn't eat because once we were seated nobody... More

The Perch is just off the highway between Denali and Cantwell. After you turn in, follow the moose signs to the restaurant. Beautiful view, very friendly staff and great food! Fish, vegies and rice were perfectly seasoned and cooked!

Our server, Leslie, was knowledgable, personable, and prompt. The food and prices were the best in the area that I have found. I would highly recommend visiting this place. Well worth the drive.

This restaurant was the original homestead of the owner in which she raised all of her children. Some years ago, she decided to turn the main upper floor into a restaurant and bar. This upper floor appears "perched" in the tree tops, as the building is situated at the top of a hill with steep falls in all directions. More... More

Ok here goes, this restaurant was overpriced with $8 for half a beer what a joke. There was bacon in the mixed vegetables (didn't know bacon was one of my 5 a day) and overall the service was poor and food average so would not eat here again. We ate as a group of 10 and peoples mains were coming... More

The food was the best and most interesting in my 10 days in AK, including Anchorage & Fairbanks. The vegetarian stuffed ravioli did not contain any cheese (which is the usual filling meant to overwhelm the taste of everything else), but was stuffed with chopped mushrooms and a few greens. It was a delicious meal. And, the owner, Leslie, is... More

We were staying at Carlos Creek Lodge and decided to come here for dinner. The view is amazing, the staff is so friendly and the food is excellent! We had the French onion soup, fresh bread, salmon with rice, and the clam linguine. We also had the fresh rhubarb crisp with coffee. All this came to $72. Everything is super... More

The view is truly "tree-top" and the food is just outstanding - in portions that you will need a take home box for. The owner is the cook. She is personable, clearly enjoys her patrons, and she is a phenomenal cook! This is a "cannot-miss" eatery!

Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with family party of 9 visiting Denali Park. Every dish was delightful and service was not only excellent but fun. The owner and our waitress both joke with us and we all just had a great time! The food was so good, several of us were trying to figure out how we could come back... More

My husband and I have been driving past The Perch restaurant near Denali National Park for longer than I care to say. Tonight we are staying in Cantwell and decided to drive the 14 miles to The Perch for dinner. Leaving the highway, you are directed to follow the moose (cute little wooden cut-outs guiding traffic up the winding quarter... More

Description
The Perch offers you cozy, private cabins, hotel rooms and lodging near Denali National Park. Tucked into the woods and bordered by pristine Carlo Creek, our cabins offer you an Alaskan experience that is truly unique.Tree-top dining at the Perch Restaurant is a wonderful way to begin and end your day. The restaurant is “perched” atop a gravel moraine left by a glacier. Each of our 13 bay windows has a spectacular view of the Alaska range and it's many glaciers. Weather permitting, you can dine on our large deck, or just sit out in the sun and enjoy a cocktail while you wait for dinner.
