Home-cooked, seasonal food and real ales are served in the restaurant. Elegant and bright, all rooms at The Baron offer cosy, king-size beds and modern bathrooms with toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available, along with a DVD player in each room. The superior rooms have a double ended whirlpool bath and a Juliet balcony overlooking the beautiful Shropshire hills. Using local and seasonal ingredients, the restaurant serves hearty, traditional food, a light lunch menu on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, and a Sunday roast. Guests can relax in the beer garden, or make use of the restaurant's takeaway service. In 2014, the property received a Breakfast Award from Visit England. Free parking is provided, and Ludlow can be reached in less than 25 minutes by car. Bucknell Rail Station is just 5 minutes' walk away, and Bishops Castle is a 25-minute drive.
