Came here for dinner with a friend last month and it was a lovely dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cordials on the bar which were specials were yummy. Dinner was tasty although the sweet potato fries maybe slightly overcooked. A good price...More

Good choice on the Sunday menu with a selection of starters mains and deserts on offer. The beef was exceptional and the veg was lovely and fresh. The Yorkshire pudding was a tad chewy and hard to cut apart from that can't fault the main....More

A group of us went to the Red Lion last weekend for Sunday lunch, we had a superb meal, the menu was varied with plenty of choice. The roast potatoes were "proper" roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings were with every roast, the meats were plentiful and...More

Very nice atmosphere, staff excellent and very friendly, dog friendly (not just tolerant !), nice garden. Only downside was vegetable portions with the meal were a little small but meat was perfect. Very nice stop on the way back from a day out.

We came here as a bigger group (12 people) and had to pre-order food. But due to that we were served quite fast. It gets not too busy during lunch time but booking a table is recommended. It's a good pub for Cambridge standards.

Very quiet restaurant, a little strange on a Friday. Starters good, mains a bit mixed. Slow cooked lamb a bit dry. Chocolate brownie style and honeycomb ice cream poor, dry brownie (it had a fancy name) hardly any ice cream and plate banged down by...More

I've had a couple of sub standard—particularly for the money—meals in here lately. Last time the bread was stale in the sandwich I ordered. The ales are usually okay.

Ate at the Red Lion on a Saturday evening whilst visiting a friend in the village. We enjoyed the warm fire, friendly atmosphere and good food served in large portions. We ate in the bar area which was lively without being too noisy. The service...More

We were a party of six adults and two children celebrating a birthday. The service was attentive, the food was excellent and the beer was described as 'very good!' Also room beside table for small baby in pushchair. Large car park on site.
