Out on my motorcycle this Sunday and decided to call in at the Olde Smithy at Monyash for a coffee. Lovely village location and a lovely cafe. Staff were very helpful and my coffee was lovely. Recommended for everyone.

Always open and welcoming with award winning ice creams, we had cake and drinks, served promptly, what a lovely little gem of a cafe for a quick bite.

What a great find this cosy warm cafe was today, was greeted by friendly staff, offering a good choice of food & warm drinks after a chilly walk...Was impressed with the warm Apple cake served with ice cream. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.....the breakfast that was being served looked most tempting.....a must for my next visit

Found this little Jem of a place for breakfast but it caters for more. Proper little walkers bikers hikers spit and sawdust cafe.. the food is superb, freshly cooked with local farm sourced food. Very well priced drinks and menu.. on my list to return 10 put of 10.

Well, I said we'd be back and we were. Quick stop for a bacon and egg bap. The quality and flavour of the meat, the fresh egg and size of the bag it is served on make this worth every penny. Off along the Monsal trail to walk it off before returning for a cake and tea later.

We had a great 30th birthday meal for my son with our extended family at the Old Smithy in Monyash. They opened especially for us in the evening. The food was excellent as was the service and we all had a very enjoyable evening. Many thanks.

We called at the Old Smithy whilst having a car ride around the area on a beautifully sunny but frosty New Years Bank Holiday. We ve eaten here before and enjoyed it very much. Today we had the Smithy Breakfast, a good, hearty , quality breakfast, followed by warm apple cake with ice cream, very nice. A welcoming, cosy tea... More
