With such a location and the prices on the menu you would think it would be a great experience. IT WAS SHOCKINGLY BAD. The chips are oven baked and taste like chalk. The "tomato" sauce is worse than fast food level. Everything is over spiced. Paint dries faster than the service and is more engaging. The place is awful. And... More

We decided to give this place another try this year on our holiday. As awful if not worse than before. Kiddies meals were pathetic. We had to send back what looked like 2 day old cold re heated in dirty oil chips. The place isn't clean and is smelly. Service was OK I guess. I just dont get how a... More

With it's position, it has the potential to be something really special but it drifts from mediocrity to very poor in both food and service. Seriously - OVEN CHIPS! How can you even contemplate this for hungry beach goers that eat it by the spade and bucketfull. Why not make a burger patty rather that the tough as nails commercially... More

The setting is OK but there is no real view and as at ,sadly all to many, places there is pop music. It lacks atmosphere and the menu is the area standard one and, whilst slow, the service is friendly. This is not somewhere I would rush back to but I find it difficult to judge it too harshly for where... This restaurant has the most beautiful setting and its on the sea edge.. We ordered creamy mussels but it had no taste at all and the bread was ordinary sliced commercial bread, wow!!!??? The creamy sauce was from a packet??? After that starter we decided to rather drive north for supper... This was a dissapointment

Lovely location and efficient service. The crayfish is the main reason to visit in my opinion. Right on the Southbroom beach, it has a very relaxed vibe

This was the worst meal I've had in South Africa in 12 years of living here. I've seen a bigger child sized portion. Fish was a disgrace.

I've been to rupture several times over the years, always busy, but experienced staff kept things running. Good food overlooking southbound beach, used to be very reliable. Not sure if there are now new owners, but all the staff appear to have changed, and they seemed pretty clueless. Restaurant was half full which was a big surprise straight off, and... More
