Everyone loves granny's. Which is great (you know you won't be let down) buuuut... Well it gets crowded. On a sunny day is the perfect location, especially when seated outside. The service is good (despite having to go to a counter to order), and the scenery is amazing. The meals are well priced, and the drinks are good too. If... More

Fantastic tea rooms in a beautiful location. This is easily our favourite eating place in Pooley. Fantastic fast friendly service. Tastey food and lots of it at good prices. I even think it's quaint that the toilets are outside in the garden. Well done Granny Dowbeikin 😀 see you again soon.

Visited on a cold, rainy November weekday afternoon - the staff were welcoming, and the hot chocolate was spot-on. Both chicken and cheese/pickle sandwiches weren't bad either

Hello and thank you for your review. We're very pleased you enjoyed your visit - even on a wet day in November! We do get busy in the summer when the weather's good enough to enjoy our Tea Garden by the river. Hope to see you again. Karen More
