Couldn't have asked for a friendlier bar to hang out in during my stay in St Jean D'Aulp. The owner and staff were welcoming and always in good spirits. The pizzas were awesome too and I particularly enjoyed the Balti pizza.

On the occasion of my birthday I got to choose the restaurant. Via trip advisor I found out that besides pizza one of the main features of Bar National is the pool table. The pictures gave it away. We went with two families, four adults and six children and we had a great evening. Our kids really loved the pool... More

This is a great little bar with excellent food, good beer and brilliant staff. Mix of Brits and French when we visited for two evenings mid Jan. Staying in St Jean D'Aulpe but more used to Morzine, I'd thoroughly recommend this oasis in the quiet village, ideal when you're looking for somewhere with some atmosphere and very welcoming.

This place can get really busy so be prepared to wait for food, but the pizzas are worth it. Lively bar, hardworking staff.

Nice position in Main Street around St Jean D'Alpus. Warm welcome and friendly crowd. Didn't try the pizza but people clearly rave about it.

We visited Bar Le National on several occasions during a long weekend away with friends. It is a comfy, clean and welcoming bar great for visitors but there also seemed to be quite a few locals in. The staff speak English which was helpful and welcome considering my french is embarrassing! With pool table, darts, TV, quiz nights and more... More
