What a superb place to eat for our final night in Tobago. Had the best Tuna of my life. Frankly it is usually disappointing and hard to chew but this was melt in the mouth tasty. Fantastic sauce and spicy beans rice and salad Preceded by a mega tasty soup. Gail herself is lovely and welcoming. Definitely one of the... More

Gail and her son made us feel very welcome and the food was lovely. Really small place by the sea front with local food; we had fish both times all freshly cooked to order.

Gail's smile immediately made us feel like our evening was going to be special, and it was. The fresh fish locally caught was divine, as was the chicken, and the atmosphere made us feel so relaxed we felt we were with old friends. I'd recommend to everyone for a very special and memorable meal.

One nice thing about local restaurants in Tobago is that one oftern get to meet and talk with the owner/cook. Gail is a charming person and a great cook. She most always has a soup (I had both callaloo and pea) to begin her meal. Delicious! Usually a choice of Chicken, or fish, sometimes goat, with all the accompaniments.

This is a hidden gem on the outskirts if Charlotteville. We had found Gail's on a previous trip to Tobago and were pleased to find it was still operating so had no hesitation in returning. It is little more than a couple of tables on the front porch of the house but is well worth the visit. Gail herself is... More

Gail's is a very personal and nice little restaurant. We drove by on a Friday and met Gail. She said it was better to come back the day after. So we did. There is not really a menu, but a choice between fish, chicken and beef. We went for fish. As a starter we had a nice bean soup. The... More

Gail is an amazing cook! Dinner is your choice of meat and comes with soup. She'll come out and chat with you - remembered us from a few nights before. Delicious, authentic, home cooked island meal.... Can't get any better.

Not only did Gail share the delicious local fruit chenet with me as I randomly walked by on my way to Pirate's Bay, she was waiting for us on our way back with cold Caribs. She was one of the nicest people we met on our trip to Tobago and we also made friends with some Trinis that were dining... More
