Really great fish and chips lunch - probably the best I've ever had. Great service. Nice little, friendly pub. Worth stopping in for a good meal while in the area.

This was our first time at the Witsend the fish n chips were excellent and they have a great beer selection. We plan to return soon. Staff spoke both French and English making our visit comfortable.

Witsend RestPub is always a "Must" half way stop after landing in Montreal, and driving to Plattsburgh, NY. The staff are unbelievably friendly, efficient and fluently bilingual! There is a good variety on the menu, and we have never been disappointed. We have a friend back in Montreal, and quite often while visiting in Plattsburgh, make the Witsend a half... More

I mentioned I had called ahead, but the girl said I had asked if they had steak and Guiness pie. Not wanting to argue, I asked if... More

When we arrived at the pub, the waitress said "will you he ready to order soon, the kitchen is closing soon." It was 7 . Rude. Some of the meals were good, some very bland. Too much money for bad service.

As my hubby mentioned in his review, the location was convenient for a just-across-the-border meet up with family for lunch. A warm and friendly environment and plenty of comfort food. Maybe not quite a destination in and of itself, but we will definitely be repeat customers.
