Stopped by Grace Before Meals (in the centre of English Harbour) for lunch. We tried the Roti's (she was serving Veggie and chicken that day). Both were delicious (and filling!) Prices were around $5 US.

I have known grace for 35 years and everything she cooks and prepares and serves for you is perfect and made Caribbean style and clean. I love all her food. I am vegetarian and she respects that.

Very simple eatery just down the street from the English Harbour "National Park". You go in and order from the posted menu. Delicious local food, generous portions, and priced for the locals. I had the BBQ Baked Chicken with Rice and Vege's; S' had a large Roti (which is kind of like a West Indian burrito, which in turn is... More

We were the only customers. The 'waiter' had to get up from folding laundry. Was picking her nose with bald faced abandon. Plopped our dishes down and walked away. I don't have any idea what was going on...if we'd offended somehow but it was so rude we should have walked out in the beginning. The roti tasted fine I might... More

You wouldn't call it a restaurant, but it was more than a tin shack with just four tables. However, Takeaway trade was very brisk always a good sign of popular, affordable, local, fresh made food. If you like meeting the local people for a Wadadli beer or two, maybe three or four, then buy a round for the locals; if... More

During a great tour by "the general" of 5 star tours, we asked to go somewhere that he would regularly go. I had steamed snapper, beans and rice, sweet potato, salad and a local beer. My partner and the Ira had pulled pork. My sister stayed with all vegetarian. Great food, nice people, in a casual setting. Unfortunately, they were... More

We stopped into GBM for lunch one day, hoping to get a taste of some authentic local food. The TripAdvisor reviews said it was good and once again, they were on the mark. Terrific home-cooked meals served fast and hot, complete with salad and sides. The day we were there, the choices were chicken, pork, goat or fish, most offered... More
