Grace is probably the best cocktail bartender on the island! Strawberry Mojitos are the best. Great bar and restaurant.

We love coming to Cuba’s Cooking, their live entertainment on Friday’s is a great vibe. They have to musicians who sing popular latin songs and play the long drum. The food is FANTASTIC. We love ordering the Ropa Vieja, the Tofu Ropa Vieja is great...as well! it just isn’t as filling. The side order of tostones is crispy yet soft, and warm. I recommend this spot! Their lunch is also nice, and at a discounted price.More
Great atmosphere, excellent food, and accommodating service! Just had dinner with my family of 4 here, great experience! Despite two picky kids, they went out of their way to take care of their needs and us adults got to enjoy a nice meal as well....Highly recommend!More
We heard the mojitos were amazing at cubas Coookin so me and my friend decided to go for lunch. While the food was very good itself, the mojitos were GREAT! A nice sweet and sour mix served in a generous sized cup. We learned our...server, Grace, made them herself!!More

Exceptional service. Grace, the bartender, creates wonderful drinks, and is very personable. Great ambience, awesome band!
Let me explain exactly what happened!! We were staying at the Renaissance Suites which was extremely close to this restaurant. We were on Flamingo Island this day the boat ride was extremely rough and I was extremely dizzy after this day but as a responsible...mother, I wanted to take my family out to dinner so we decided to go to Cuba‘s cooking worst decision. I explained to my family that I was not eating. I was just having a side order. So, when the young lady with her hair up and blue flower in her hair came to take our order, I specifically specified we were only ordering three main dishes, one for my mother, one for my son, & one for my husband, and a side order for myself. When another waitress came to drop off 5 dishes I explained to her that we only ordered 3 large dishes and one side dish. The waitress that took my order rushed to our table in aggressive way and started to reprimand me that she understands Spanish very well because I ordered in Spanish so not wasn’t she extremely disrespectful and rude now she started to insult me !!! She expressed that the kitchen was reprimanding her!!!! I was in absolute shock what just occurred, and completely taken back!! This is when I pulled one of the waitresses to the side and asked to speak to management because I wasn’t going to allow anyone to disrespect me and my family!!! This waitress was very happy to inform me that management was not on the premises.. This when I started walking towards the bar and the waitress with the blue flower in her hair confronted me and got up in my face!!! “WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!” The other waitress had to separate her because as a business owner we don’t conduct business in this manner that’s when I had it I had to raise my voice and every customer was interrupted with there dinner!! Unacceptable behavior. The manager showed up 20 minutes later as she was working non stop for months and had to get called on her only day off. She was extremely apologetic and wasn’t shocked by this disrespectful waitress!! She charged us for the meal not the one that we didn’t order & promised us when we returned we would have a meal on the house.. As a business owner currently and a supervisor of 26 years I always trained all employees equally and with highest productivity and professionalism!! The disrespect and unprofessionalism service that I & my family received at this restaurant has to go down as one the worst experiences in our entire lives !!! And please check your bill because they do charge a gratuity and the restaurant is conveniently dimmed…More
We were fortunate enough to stop in Aruba on our cruise during Carnival! We stopped in Cuba’s Cookin for drinks and appetizers. Don’t miss the Tres Leches cake!
Wonderful food and drinks. Great value. So good we ate both lunch and dinner here while in Aruba. Highly recommended this spot.
Omg...the fish tacos paired with local beer are amazing! Dont miss the cuban burger and extras if you are a burger person! Outstanding service from Grace and Brenda! Dont miss this place for local lunch, or dinner!
Four of us had a really great dining experience here. The ambiance with live music feels very authentic, the food was great and our server Brenda was just lovely. She was knowledgeable about the menu and dishes, very warm and very attentive. She really made...it an enjoyable evening.More
Outstanding service ( thank you Brenda!) coupled with authentically prepared Cuban food. Lovely environment with a Cuban gentleman playing a variety of Spanish songs in the exactly correct volume. We dined on a trio of chicken, meat, and potato empanadas for appetizers with mojtos. Again,...perfectly prepared. I ordered the steak palomilla and my boyfriend had ropa vieja. The steak was perfection & the ropa vieja extraordinary. Flan for dessert! Heartily recommend this wonderful restaurant that has stood the test of time , celebrating 25 years of service.More
What an unexpected, delicious discovery just across the street from our hotel. We were famished and “hangry” and their sign for small plates took inside the patio. What a surprise! The hostess was so nice, but them we met our server, Grace. And that is...a perfect word to describe her attentiveness and focus. She helped us choose our small bites and served us two of the best Mojitos ever( make that four! Before we left). The restaurant was moderately busy for mid afternoon, but the food was served hot and quickly. Compliments to Grace, the hostess, and the bartender! We’ll be back before we depart the island!More
Best food on the island! Surprised this place was not busier and/or reviewed higher. We first visited for late lunch on our first day in Aruba hoping to find some good Ceviche and we were not disappointed! The ceviche is AMAZING!!! In fact it was...so good we came back 2 more times! We were very happy with the majority of our food with each of the visits. (I would not suggest the red sangria, it was fine just meh, the avocado salad nor the chicken tacos again they were fine but not the shining stars here...definitely stick to the Cuban food) The berry and mango mojitos are fantastic!! The Roast Pork Tenderloin was fabulous (lunch menu) and the Chicken Mofongo was to die for! We've eaten at some famous Cuban places in Little Havana and the food and drinks here at Cuba's Cookin' rivaled that. True authentic Cuban food, definitely a do not miss! Also, go in the evening for the live Cuban music, so much fun and just a fabulous vibe!More
