We have heard a lot of good things about Gianni's so we went with friends and were not disappointed. Their menu is fairly extensive with alot to choose from. I was a bit worried that I would be limited as I cannot eat tomatoes but there were dishes without tomato sauce. The meals were well presented and the service was... More

Nothing spectacular and certainly not the best dinner we have had here. The service was fine but the food was just alright. We each had a salad and it was some shredded lettuce, carrots, cabbage and tomatoes for $6.50. The entrees don't come with pasta or vegetables which seems silly for the price.

We probably should have left after they told us it would be a 30 minute wait even though we had reservations. After we waited our 30 minutes even though we had reservations, we experienced some of the worst service ever! It ended up being a 3 hour dinner for 2 courses. The waiter never checked on us if we needed... More

I was sick of all the steak and various meats the island offers and wanted pasta. This place was delicious. Staff was great as well as prices were fair. I would definitely go back next time we visit.

We enjoyed the food it was very good with nice portions. The wine selection was limited. Ask to sit on the patio where you can do some great people watching.

We were so looking forward to some great Italian food while here in Aruba for a week and with the great reviews we read about Gianni's, we thought this would be the spot. Unfortunately it was a mediocre experience at best. The place was crowded and run like an impersonal factory. While we had a waiter, Manny, we more often... More

We dined at Gianni's during our honeymoon in January. It is regularly rated a top restaurant and must try when visiting Aruba. As with 90% of other reviewers, we did the cheese wheel pasta and a bottle of red. It was a cool experience to have the pasta cooked tableside, however, the end product was rather bland. There is a... More

Food was wonderful! Service was impeccable. We had Veal Osso Bucco (off the charts) pasta, perfectly cooked. Very pleased!

Description
Giannis Ristorante Italiano starts it's story in 1984 when Giovanni and Filomena Ferrara opened their first family owned restaurant in down town Oranjestad, Aruba. As one of the first Italian restaurants in Aruba success was very quick to follow, through the years up to now the family has slowly moved from downtown to the new nightlife area in Palm Beach better known as the strip. Gianni's was the beginning of a family of restaurants across the island, always specializing in extraordinary culinary experiences. Today you can still meet some of the family in Gianni's, the Italian side of the Ferrara family originates from Castellamare di Stabia, a small city on the Napoli Coast in Italy. You can find the menu at Gianni's is geared more around Napoli food but as the years have passed and our customer base has grown, we have extended into other regions of Italy to create a more complete Italian experience for our customers. Gianni's is well known for constantly changing towards modern times and better ingredients, always looking to import the freshest and finest quality ingredients to enhance our customer experience. Our motto has always been; try to find the best, enjoy the best, and share it with our guests.
