The title of my review is the advice that should have been given to the new owners of "The Carib Beach Bar" now known as "The Coast". Funny that reviews are still written under the Caribs name, it's no wonder. We have travelled to Barbados 6 times, always staying in Worthing, Christ Church. The Carib Beach Bar was the go... More

Called in here for a cold drink on our way to The Gap, walking along the shoreline where we could. The place was quite quiet and the tables, chairs and benches could do with a makeover as they were a little tatty looking. A big surprise in the ladies toilets, as there were 2 ultra modern sink bowls, set on... More

We ate fish cakes and drank rum punch. MY wife thought the flying fish cutter was grate. The rum punch was excilant.

I had visited the Carib under its former ownership and was keen to find out how it had fared under its new name of "Coast". It used to be so nice. I'm still wondering what it's like now.. Having called by for dinner at 20.40 (or 20 to 9pm, if you prefer), we were told that the kitchen was closed.... More

Carib beach bar now known as Coast. Had great bar service from a beautiful lady, don't remember her name, maybe Kathia, sorry I just can't remember... but I do remember her pretty smiling face and the best rummy and yummy Pina Colada on the island of Barbados, and, believe me, I sampled plenty of Pina Coladas at many different places... Rachael at the bar was amazing, pleasant, and mixed amazing drinks with a beautiful smile! All of the staff were so cheerful and made our evening a pleasure!

The Carib under previous management had horrible service but pretty good food and drinks. Now the place has literally the world's worst fried calamari--they managed to make them taste like soap, rubber, and cardboard at the same time. Their fish fingers were like tasteless rags-- truly abhorrent. Their rum punches do not have rum-- we had to send ours back... More

We've had many nice meals at the Carib as it was formerly called, and had heard that things had gone downhill since changing hands. I guess if you came mainly for the Friday night music, then yes, you'd be disappointed. We generally go there for beach snacks and found it to be absolutely fine-yes the menu has changed somewhat but... More

Dear oh dear they have changed hands and totally ruined the decor and ambiance also they have halved the menu choice, where are the coconut shrimps!!! Everyone's favourite. The quality of the foodd has also deteriorated. Also there is no live music any more The only good point they have kept the price of rum the same!
