We started with gazpacho soup that was the best i have ever had! Then we shared a paella for two that was exceptional and it is a specialty of the house. It was a super restaurant!!!

In Cuba the family run paladars are the best places to eat and this one is no exception. We came here with a group from Grand Circle but we were treated like individuals. We were served family style lamb, , pork, lobster, rice, beans. Guava preserves and cream for dessert.

When our driver dropped us off I was a bit confused on where we were. The food at La Moraleja is actually pretty good and the atmosphere is quite nice as well. Walking behind a house is an outdoor/indoor oasis with overhead vines and lots of ambience. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a nice bar as well.... More

Paladars can be spotty both for food, location, and atmosphere. Our tour group had a salsa lesson at this paladar, which was weird dancing on a concrete floor. But the set up and grounds for this paladar are very nice. The food - at least the tour group food is just ok.

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is exquisite, the drinks are excellent, the decor is fabulous and the service is great. You will need a reservation to eat here. You can also get great cognac and a cigar after your meal.

La Moraleja serves you a selection of Cuban food in family style. This means that you are essentially having a tasting menu. All the food we were served was top notch. Tasty and plentiful. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely, wait staff is responsive and the good it terrific. One of the best restaurants we went to in Havana.

Our group went to La Moraleja on our last night in Cuba. The dinner was served family style so I can't comment on menu choices but we all liked the meal we were given. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is located in several rooms of the house so it did prevent us all from eating in the same... More

This place serve a family style banquet that is very nice. It is large and can handle a crowd. We were about 25 people and they did a great job of taking care of us and the food didn't suffer the numbers!

Lovely ambience, feeling of an old, well maintained home. Vines and gardens outside. Inside, dark wood dining room and bar with tastefully decorated walls. Seating on ground floor -- no narrow stairway to the dining area as is typical. On a narrow, nice mostly residential neighborhood. Service was very attentive, and with adequate English for our tour group of 22.... More

I enjoyed one of the most delicious meal I had in Cuba in recent years. There were 12 of us, and all enjoyed our meals. I had braised rabbit on a fig sauce, yum! The other popular dish at the table was the braised lamb shag. It almost felt of the bone! The staff was very accommodating and professional. There... More
