The food was great! They elevated Cuban food to a gourmet level. I've had rice and beans all my life but this was special. It had a little something something that I'm still trying to figure out. The shrimp were juicy, the mojito was smooth. The flan had coconut undertones and was unique and presentation was mouth watering. Also the... More

This is a cosy restaurant a block away from the Malecon on the street called "Galiano." Its a great find with great food, drinks and the best Mojitos we had in Cuba. Its not pretentious or flashy but it is a great little place for a 2-4 people having a good meal with drinks in Havana.

Seriously - our favorite dinner in Havana. The most unassuming place we ate turns out to be our favorite. Really good service. Nice Mojitos. They served us drinks while we waited for a table - sipped on the sidewalk outside. Tasty rice and beans and much more. On block off the Malecon. But away from the prime tourist area so... More

This was our first restaurant in Havana. Nice space 1 block from the Maiecon, Friendly servers and our food was very tasty. Rice, beans, plantain, chicken for a great first Cuban meal. Great price.

Great little find. Went with two friends. Cocktals were lethal and superb! The food was unique as it was modern with a twist. You would almost think you were in a.... you were, in a boutique cafe. Also great value for the price.

This restaurant is 1 block from the Malecon, but a nice find for us one afternoon. We enjoyed the tapa special and shared an entree. Seating is a little tight, but service is good and we enjoyed our meal here.

Finds like this are worth the walk into Havana Central and to Galiano Avenue. In the dilapidated surroundings sits this gem. I had ran into a couple guys who brought me here and I was glad they did. I had either the Cordero Casto or Cerdo de la Castas but it was really good, just wish there was a little... More

We had been traveling and touring all day and were looking for some great local food not to far from our apartment. We tumbled upon Castas & Tal. What luck, the food was great, the service fantastic, and you could not beat the price,

As many others we too stumbled across this place. Nice place in a not yet very developed area. Different menu, portions of ok value, maybe on the small side, but posible to make due with the rice and beans. The pork a bit dry, but good taste. The sheep-dish was juicy and full of flavour and the pasta was deemed... More

There are few restaurants in Centro Habana near the Malecon, and this was bright and welcoming. The food was good; we had lovely shrimps and lobster, and warm salad. The service was friendly. we ate there for three nights we were in Havana, tired after a day's walking, but revived at this cheerful relaxing restaurant,
