We were brought here by the owner of our Casa on his recommendation & it was great. Small little restaurant (indoors only) full of charm. Reminded me of Spain! We were alone in the restaurant (Thu evening) and a bit worried the food won't be fresh but oh boy how wrong we were. The starters were great. I had grilled... More

Enjoyed a delicious meal here in this easily missed restaurant. Service was very efficient even though it was quite busy. There was a good selection of food - I had a fish in mango and mint sauce which was lovely and very innovative. Reasonably priced and clean toilets.

You would not maybe see this place if you walk by. Trust the guy at the door to take you in, down a few steps into the best restaurant in Havana. Really good decoration and ambience, excellent service and superb food

Cozy restaurant, but overpriced. Each plate around $20.00 or more. Food was nothing special. We were there with our 14 year old children and their grandparents. Go to Habana 61. It's in Old Town (Habana Vieja) However, you need reservation. The address to Habana 61 is Calle Habana 61.Phone (53)7-801-6433

I'd like to think of this place as a hidden gem but I think the secret is out. Night one in Havana I go to this place not knowing what to expect. I ordered the chicken breast with chocolate balsamic drizzle and asparagus cream sauce, black beans and rice and a mojito. Yep, I came here the next day and... More

I visited this restaurant with a group of 10 friends. Everyone was very pleased with their food. The dining room is decorated with lots of pictures and memorabilia that we really enjoyed looking at. The owner and servers were very nice and attentive. One of the servers did speak English so it made it much easier for us to ask... More

It's true - the paladares in Havana are far, far superior to the government-run establishments. This restaurant is quiet & comfortable. The food was delicious. And the mojitos were terrific (you'd think all mojitos in Havana would be terrific - but that's unfortunately not the case.)

So as not to bury the lead I'll say this up front. We had our best dinners at Gringo Viejo during a week's stay in Havana. In fact, we had several good dinners. Three to be specific. This of course is an unusual circumstance, to return to the same restaurant three evenings out of seven in a new destination. And... More

Cozy spot in Vedado located in the bottom floor of an old house. great A/C for those sweltering Havana nights. Service was excellent, food was simple, classic and tasty. Try the tamale appetizer - it's big and flavorful...enough for 2 to share.

Had a lovely meal here. A very god food and even better service. The decor very alluring and inviting. Smoking area at the premises. I recommend the lamb and the fritters.
