Nice waiting staff, fair prices (along the fairest on the island I guess), fast service, cozy atmosphere, good quality food (some stuff was even cooked on the rightfully world famous Big Green Egg!!) and an amazing view on the beach and azure blue bay. After our holidays we decided that this beach was the nicest of all those that we... More

Had the Lamborghini in a pita, not impressed. Ground lamb was overcooked, almost hard with fries for naf 22.50. 2 burger plates for friends who agreed that they weren't up to Willemstad or Fabiano's standards and 1 person couldn't get over being charged 50 cents extra for one small onion slice on the burger. The burger meat was thin and... More

As long as you are not too adventurous with what you order; i think you will be happy. A Burger for example is hard to screw up here and has been pretty consistent.

Playa Porto Mari is a comfortable beach. We enjoyed snorkeling along the long shoreline. The man-made reef structures allow for seeing a variety of fish.

After a great day on the beach, and great snorkeling, we went to the bar / restaurant. Service was friendly, but not very attentive. The drinks were fine, after the order right. My wife had grilled shrimp, which were ok. Not too filling, even for my light eater wife. I had the Red Snapper, which was a nice sized fish... More

My wife and I have been to Curacao 5 times now and we always make sure we go this beach a couples of times during our two week stay. It's nice beach. They do charge for chairs and entrance fee , but it's well worth it. The best snorkeling is to the left looking out to the water. There's also... More

They charged approx $11 per person for a beach chair. food at local bar was fine. (I think $15 for burger and fries). Snorkeling was good- stay until end of day! Sunset was beautiful and a turtle came right onto the beach and swam next to the dock.

We stopped in for breakfast. It was really quiet, hardly anyone was there. The portions were generous and the service was good. It is a pretty large place and would probably be a nice place to go for drinks. It is right on the beach and there are beach chairs. There were also some nice shaded sofa sitting areas.

Travelling here was not great as the roads are terrible . It is pay parking and there are facilities such as washrooms and restaurant. There are chairs for rent and there is a natural shade from the many trees around so that was great. Good snorkelling point. Nice for an afternoon and move on from there!. No locals. All Dutch... We had spent the day at the beach at Playa Porto Mari and decided to eat a late lunch/early dinner here, as restaurants on this end of the island are few and far between. The restaurant here did not disappoint. Still in our beachwear, we were seated under the canopy and had a beautiful view of the Caribbean. They had... More
