Attached is a picture of the view, which is spectacular. Very friendly and competent service in this road-side cafe / bar. Facing the road is the bar, facing the river is the cafe terrace. We had four meals and five drinks which were delicious. The freshness, taste and quality were well above average for the island. Well done to the... More

We enjoyed a great dinner, after an attempted hike to Boiling lake. ( had to turn around ,due to a heavy rain storm). I would recommend the goat. It is cooked in a curry sauce, and very tender. Comes with plenty of sides, so come hungry. If your feeling adventurous ask for a bush rum from behind the bar. Use... More

We stopped in for lunch at River Rock Cafe. We each had the creole tuna, and it was great! The views from the dining room to the river below are worth the price alone.

The view from this cafe, over the river running from Trafalgar falls is gorgeous but we forgot that you wouldn't be able to see it at night, so the location was a bit of a bust for dinner. Furthermore the restaurant seemed a big fan of "mood lighting", low wattage coloured bulbs that made seeing anything impossible. The planteur punches... More

We went to River Rock cafe after our tour in Dominica. The food was very good specially the goat. My husband and son in law really enjoyed it. The rum punch was delicious and you basically only need one unless you want to take a nap. Very picturesque and beautiful water fall views.

I have noticed that when people come to Dominica, they often want to leave with a bottle of rum. So they go to Pirates and get a bottle of Rum they could probably buy at home but they say its cheaper. To all those tourists/visitors, I would like to point out that while Rum is distilled in Dominica (Machoucherie); the... More

The view during lunch is a river cascading over large rocks you can explore. It is very caribbean experience. Excellent made to order fresh food. Get the island rum punch. I had the mahimahi.

We stopped here during our tour of Dominica. The food was excellent, and fresh. The view was great. We both ordered the MahiMahi, and the portion was huge. We were definitely full when we left.

This was our lunch spot on a package tour that included the Titou Gorge, hot sulphur pools & Trafalgar Falls. It was delicious in such a pretty setting. Our group had a buffet of local fish stew, Caribbean chicken legs, roasted root veggies, salad & punch. It was probably one of the best meals I had on that particular trip.... More
