Great location, view , and service. Food presentation is great , however the food quality is not on par with other Caribbean islands. This was generally true across the island

This is an authentic pirates cove and any parent should be sure to visit with their kids. It definitely reminds me of all of those movies with Johnny Depp. A pristine beach and a lovely protected cove with ocean waves and cool breezes.

We ate twice here during our stay on Guadeloupe, and enjoyed both occasions. The staff are friendly and helpful even when the restaurant is packed. It is advisable to reserve a table. We had good food and tried different dishes, our only disappointment in our...More
A bit hard to find at night, but once you walk in, it might remind you of a big New England family lobster restaurant, with all the rum paraphernalia and plastic menus. Do not be deceived! The food is superb, the service reasonably attentive. This...More

Most of the restaurants in Guadeloupe aren't super exciting, but la Rhumerie du Pirate really works to give people an excellent experience. The food is delicious, the service is good, and I appreciated the creativity that went into the plating of the meals. They really...More
The best thing about the restaurant is the location otherwise the typical Guadeloupe food was nothing special, the service was slower than usual (although friendly). We would probably go back if we return to the island based on convenience more than anything
Typical Guadeloupe menu. Service was very very good, lobster a bit overcooked but everything else was fine. The view is what it is all about.
