This place has the best conch soup and mixed drinks. It is a tradition to go there every time we come to Jamaica. We always go with our very good family friend Roy from Glamour tours. So sad that they have closed, Jamaica has lost...More

Good place to eat. Local food, fresh. Cosmo's has been around longer than the 20 years we have been going. Snapper was awesome.
After 40? years Cosmo has sold the property. Rumor has it to Sandals next door. Cosmos was known and respected by all the locals. The place was a local favorite known for good food and drink at low prices.
We will be returning to Jamaica in a week and just found out that Cosmo's sold to the next door resort and closed without warning last Saturday. I'm hearing it was quite a shock to everyone and the removal of the items on the property...More
Cosmos has a great selection of Jamaican food, particularly seafood. We had steamed fish and curried goat and both were excellent. The portions were good sized and they had a great drink selection at reasonable prices. Bring Jamaican money!
We really appreciate the positive feedback and are very happy that you enjoyed your meals at Cosmo's Seafood Restaurant and Bar.
Conch soup we had was amazing! We also had the curry shrimp and grilled red snapper which was very good as well. Prices were descent compared to others along the seven mile beach. Would recommend.
Thanks for your recommendation! We very much appreciate the kind words you've expressed about Cosmo's Seafood Restaurant and Bar, which celebrated its' 41st anniversary this year (1976-2017).
We stopped in on our way to Negril. If you're driving past, do yourself a favor and stop like we did. What a great surprise. Laid back, attentive staff, great drinks and quiet solitude. What more can you ask for? Can be a party spot...More
Thanks for the great review and stopping by Cosmo's! We are very happy that you stopped by as you were entering Negril and enjoyed your meals / the laid-back atmosphere at our rustic beach restaurant. We look forward to seeing you again!
Had the garlic shrimp. This used to be my favorite dish here. Shrimps are much smaller than last year and bf. Portions have been reduced. Can tell the recipe changed or the chef. Not as flavorful as past. Would probably pass this by next time.More
Our sincere apologies if your garlic shrimp dinner didn't meet your expectations. This is certainly not the experience that we've aimed to provide our customers over the past 41 years. Fresh seafood is purchased from local fishermen so we will make inquires to the kitchen...More

Love the beach, but that is about all that Cosmos has going for it now. We have visited many times, but things are not what they used to be. Our recent visit may be our last. Our waitress was rude to several in our party;...More
