Me and my family visited this little gem 3 times, we own a restaurant in Greece and we can honestly say that Alton's Jerk chicken is the best in Negril by far. Very friendly, safe and relaxed place, go and try his lovely freshly made food, or just have a cold red stripe watching the sun going down with the... More

Amazing service. This was very functional during the day, providing shade or sun to sit and relax. At night the candlelight gave it such a cute romantic vibe. The food was very authentic, and a nice change from all the jerk chicken on the beach. Had the rasta pasta and veggie patty. So good. Will definitely be coming here again... More

I don't get excited about lobster. But when I'm sitting on the beach at sunset in Negril, literally 10 feet from the ocean, sipping a Red Stripe, laughing with my good friend and a couple of local school boys (7 and 9) about the differences between life in the States and life on the Island, and I'm served a steaming... We stopped in on our way back from listening to live music at Alfreds, a group of 8. Very accomadating, cold Red-Stripe. Very friendly, Alton showed us the fish he had caught that morning and offered to smoke it for us the next day. He was ready, had tables all set and we experienced the best service and the best... Alton is a rastaman who takes pride in his place and his food. I had maybe the most delicious grilled fish ever there (made on the same grill as the jerk chicken) for only about $10. There are a number of other great little beach bars nearby in both directions to have a beer and meet some cool locals so... More

We originally only stopped for a Red Stripe on our walk back home down the Seven Mile Beach, but the smells coming from the oil drum grill tempted us into eating too. It was a great decision as we had some really lovely food in relaxed surroundings watching the sun set on the sea and with very friendly service. Alton's... More

My husband's first Negril experience was Alton's. After eating his jerk chicken and the sauce that's served on the side, he was hooked...just as I was hoping! Alton and his food left such a lasting impression on him, so much that we are going back again. First stop will be Alton's!
