My family and I were staying in Portland and looking for a place to have breakfast. We called Dickie and he said it was $25 a plate, three course breakfast, and asked my husband if he had heard of cereal? He was offputting from the first conversation, but we called back to say we weren't coming because the hotel had... More

The best dining experience ever. Dickie is awesome and the cosy little building screams romance. A must go to if you visit Port Antonio

We went here after reading the reviews. We found it easy to find, on a bend on the main road heading West out of Port Antonio. You will not leave hungry! The portions very generous and the food is good honest local cooking. Don't expect high end dining but we really enjoyed the food. We were the only ones there... More

Having passed the place at least 6 times in either direction we still never discovered where exactly it is situated If that is intentional it is ok They may be very private people not even a name on the door and they only want customers who arrive by word of mouth But you cannot expect to be mentioned in Tripadvisor... We went there for dinner with another couple our 2nd day in Jamaica, per their driver's recommendation, and had the most DELICIOUS dinner, of 5 courses. The shrimp appetizer cooked in a fresh tomato was so good, the omelet with callalou, a local leafy green was so incredible, the fish with rice and beans and a sort of fresh made... More

My colleague and I having read the wonderful reviews and some positive word a mouth decided to have dinner at Dickies Best Kept secret. Upon reaching the location we was met by lady who bought us down some winding steps and ask us to sit. The restaurant itself is a lopsided shack which seems as if it could fall off... More

Our driver suggested we have dinner at Dickie's for Jamaican fare, and we were glad we did. The experience is so unique and possibly nothing you will ever experience again. Dickie and his wife have built their restaurant into a cliff overhanging the water, where they once sold fruit as their livelihood. You must climb down stone steps into the... More
