My friends and I loved this place! We ate here twice, and had the same burger both times. The plantain burger with everything was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It's a regular beef burger with plantains and sweet veggies. To die for! The fries were crispy and the rum punch was delicious and very strong. The owner... More

We had been in Jamaica for almost a week, driving around seeing the real Jamaica, when we came upon reviews for Woodys, Low Bridge Place... and we had to try it. I have to say the burgers were good, I had the Plantain burger, something only made here, and my husband had a regular cheese burger... once he tasted my... More

We first came here 14 years ago and Cherry cooked for us every evening during our week long stay in Port Antonio. As our hotel food wasn't very good it was a joy to find Woody & Cherry and their lovely bar. When we came back to Jamaica for another holiday very recently, we couldn't wait to see them again... Papa Woody and Mrs Woody are worth a visit on their own...! This roadside wooden shack is painted delightful colours, it's clean, airy, and nicely lit, plays good music, and serves really great burgers. And, of course, a few Red Stripe always help.

I like Woodies, it is simple, well priced and a nice comfortable ambience. And yes their burgers are good it was reported to me. I don;'t eat burgers but there was plenty else to choose from.

We were looking for a nice casual, simple night during our week long stay in Port Antonio. Woody's exceeded our expectations in that the food was exactly what we wanted and Woody and his wife Cherry could not have been more personable and hospitable. We loved the tour of their garden/back yard. The drinks were fabulous! The homemade ginger beer... More

That calaloo stuffed slab of heaven with plantains on top was hands down the best veggie burger we've ever had. Fries were nice and fresh too. Loved reading the philosophical tidbits all over the walls!

Woody's was recommended to us for a great place to eat, not too expensive, and all around nice. When we arrived, it was after 9:00, and the menu was limited. The recommendation was for a hamburger, which was available, so we ordered hamburgers. The burger was fast food quality, and the price (as I remember) was a bit high for... More

The price is good, but the serving is small. Fries was the best thing. I was pretty disappointed, especially with all the good reviews that this restaurant has. I guess other people taste buds are just average.i have had a better burger at mc Donalds dollar menu. Hope this helps someone
