While most of San Juan was closed, the Manolin was able to produce a complete breakfast a very reasonable price. As there were few alternatives, it could have jacked up its prices but did not.

Had breakfast here one morning in Old San Juan and found it fine, not fancy but filling. It seemed that there was many "locals" so that say's a lot. We sat at the counter and had eggs and bacon and coffee. It was somewhat hot...More

Nice local food and big plate. Warm service. Recommend liver steak! Finish it when it's warm. Only thing is a bit chill inside, and cash only due to the electricity problem after hurricane.

This is basically a dinner that serves puertorrican food. The place is a bit run-down and it is usually crowded. Not a goos place to take a large group. The food is not bad, but there are better places to eat in Old San Juan.

We visited this place based on Tripadvisor reviews. We ordered mofongo and kid had some kind of chicken schnitzel (we ordered empanada ?). Mofongo was pretty dry. Same for the chicken (kid did not eat much of it). If I have to say something nice...More

We ate there on a Sunday morning about 9:30. The tables were crowded but there were lots of stools available at the diner type curved bar. We had a great waitress and service was quick and food was good. Be sure to get... More

sorry for the delay. Their flan is delicious. And since i've never personally made it, it certainly looks as it's a homemade recipe.
