This coffee shop has great natural fruit juices and my mom loves their famous quiche. This last time they had a pumpkin flan that was the best I've ever had. It's a great place to stop and unwind after walking in Old San Juan.

Cafe Poetico is part of the Poet's Passage in Old San Juan. The atmosphere, food and coffee are all exceptional. Eat in would be my call but they do takeaway for lunch and dinner. They are also open until about 11pm every Tuesday while the poetry open mic event takes place in the passage. Family owned, they care about their... More

Stopped in for a pina colada. Decided to get some empanadas. The drink was not that good but the empanadas were. The ambiance is very live and welcoming. The servers were very friendly and informative. We really loved the spoken word spot in the back and the attached shop.

We went to Café Poético for breakfast. I had a latte and a pastry. My husband and I enjoyed our food and took the chance to go the little shop next door. The café is quaint and quiet. I would definitely recommend it.

Los Cidrines is definitely one of the best places to have a quick and inexpensive breakfast in the San Juan area. Although known for its excellent bakery style sandwiches, Cidrines starts early every morning with a variety of breakfast dishes like eggs, omelettes, hot cereals, breads, and pastries. The prices are unbelievably low and cleanliness is their image. Try it!

Okat, so I intended to get only coffee, but got into a conversation with the barista and a patron. In a flash I was picking up lunch and a pastry too. Nice ambiance that's very calm (a nice change from the typical small shop in OSJ).

Dropped in here for a spot of coffee on our afternoon in old San Juan. A friend read the review and wanted to check it out. Fantastic coffees. Wish we would have had more time to spend just chilling out in this space. Loved the ambience.
