We recently spent a couple days in Mayaguez and visited the Ricomini Bakery twice while we were there. There is a huge selection of delectable baked goods and desserts (we tried to fantastic coconut pudding) - super yummy! Additionally, the other offerings include a hot buffet and sandwiches which are ordered at the counter. In our case we chose to... More

Ok, so I'm not sure what to try...sooooo, I'll just try a little of everything. The guava donut was overload....chocolate cake, was delicious and to finish off my sugar nirvana a coconut bar with just the right amount of sweetness. Two bottles of water to wash it all down. The coffee looks amazing. I'll be back tomorrow.

Lunch was delicious. The mallorcas are the best I have ever tried. They have a great variety if sweets. The brazo gitano is very good too.

This is a great bakery, have sandwiches, breakfast, candy, all kind of postres, and the best is brazo gitano de Ricomeri. If you go to mayaguez and forget to pass to Ricomeri Bakery, then you don't visit Mayagüez.

It is a big bakery that also serves lunch and other light food. Has good coffee and sandwiches affordable. The place is famous for the sweet bread called mallorca, that I preferred toast with butter and coffee or hot chocolate

This is the place to go for lunch and to load up on sweets. It's helpful to speak Spanish. They have reasonably priced coffee to bring home.

This establishment is not to far from the Plaza de Colon in downtown Mayaguez and they have there own parking area; once you get pass the traffic. This place serves very delicious comida criolla. But for the locals and old timers it is famous for it's delicious and nostalgic pastries from a by gone time when I was a kid.... More

I visit every week. The sugar donuts are the best I have tried so far. The "budín" is awesome. The bread "pan boricua" perfect for sandwiches and only with butter hot from oven.
