Came here with my husband for breakfast and we're so glad we did. Local breakfast sandwiches and eggs scrambled, omelettes all baked goods baked on premises. We bought a lb. of bread and OMG there goes the carb diet truly delicious.

La Viequense Panaderia is sort of a landmark. It's very popular with locals as well as those visiting Vieques. This bakery offers great Puerto Rican coffee. Small cups like espresso, Americans might need 2! :D. There are always a variety of fresh, tasty pastries to choose from, most under $2-3. The cinnamon rolls are delicious! Also love the pastries with... More

My favorite eatery on the island for cubano sandwiches and bakery just got gorgeous. Super nice people make wonderful bread and pastries. But it is for the cubano sandwiches and the bread pudding that I dream about when not on the island. And oh so beautiful inside now.

Nice and clean place. Went for breakfast and was crowded, but service came fast. Food was good. The coffee is great!

Two couples out for breakfast. A Cuban isn't our idea of breakfast, but a local at one of the table said that's the best when asked by my wife. She loved it, and it was just as good as the ones we get in Tampa. I had the espaniola for $5.88 and couldn't finish it. Great food, would go back.

Not with your time. Didn't have the basics. Was given wrong sandwich, ordered media noche, got Cuban. Really basic request they could not get right

Excellent donuts and coffee. Coffee was fresh ground and espresso made. Couldn't have been any better.

I'm always worried about pastries in Central America but this place does them right. Enjoyed a fried egg as well and their toast with butter was great. I'll be back this week.

Great pastries. Coffee not so great. Good vibe. There is also an ATM machine inside in case you need cash but you can use credit card if need too. Good music too and open early.

I always go the la Viequense for breakfast and sandwiches. Couldn't believe that they had renovated the facility. Looks much better, but the lines are still long. They only have one girl at the register and another girl cooking. But what the hell, it's Vieques and you re there to relax. If you are in a hurry, stay in Puerto... More
