This little bistro was right down the street from us. Server was great, attentive. There was only one other table while we were in and service was still a bit slow, though I imagine there's probably only 1 person in the kitchen preparing the meals, so it wasn't a huge deal for us. The dishes we got were both amazing,... More

The food was simply above and beyond expectations. Food on the island has always been a hot and miss experience. Almost always better to go with street food, comida criolla, home cooked snacks, etc. The restaurants are pricey and usually disappointing. The chicken mofongo was awesome and simple. The stewed grouper in Caribbean spices tasty. No wine that night but... More

I was really craving rice and beans throughout the whole trip. Plantains were delicious. Rice was a little dry. Could've used a little more beans. Did the passion fruit mojito. Took a while for the drinks to come out as well as the food, did give us a little more time to enjoy the ambiance. Things were slow, but that... More

... good lunch-had the fried grouper(mero) was light and fresh, to stones were homemade not from a bag, the rice and beans were excellent also. Give it a try... you'll enjoy it.

Above all, avoid the outdoor seating. We were beset by flies our entire meal. Service was slow, menu was strange. I had a shrimp salad that combined black olives and dried cranberries. Drinks menu was very limited, and beers not cold enough. Parking situation atrocious, and cars whizzing by at close range blasting Puerto Rican rap music. Will not go... More

We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and were excited to try this place on our visit. We were there during shoulder season, but I don't think that is a good excuse for the experience that we had. We were the only customers in the restaurant for lunch. Aside from us, the cook, the waitress and her small child... More

The mofongo was delicious, great texture, taste and the service was okay. A bit pricey but I would go back just for the mofongo.

Besides the excellent service, this confortable and warm restaurant has the best food I have ate in my travel to Puerto Rico. The fist time I ate mofongo was in Bieke's and I though it will be the same in everyplace in the island, but they have an special recipe is like eating in a Puerto Rican home.

It would have been nice to sit outside but there were no working lights;) Not a big problem though- the service was friendly and the food was great.
