Initially heading for another restaurant, which was closed, we found this one, which looked attractive. And really, it was a beautiful surprise. This restaurant has a charming tropical islands style terrace, and also an "épicerie fine" (exclusive, tasty groceries and wines). The welcome was warm...and made us feel like very special guests. And then the menu showing a choice of fine French cuisine, not very common in spite of being in Martinique. The dinner was super tasty and well served, accompanied by outstanding wines. The chef himself came to say hello to us during the meal, making sure everything was all right. Of course, the prices were in accordance, but not exceedingly high. Really this place is worth its name :"Fines Bouches". I would highly recommend it for those looking for a culinary experience "à la française" in Martinique.More

I’ve visited Les Fines Bouches with 2 colleagues a few weeks ago. This new restaurant is attached to an attractive delicatessen. It’s located down the residential Route de Didier in a all in white Creole house. We got a table on the lovely and breezy...veranda. We chose tasty meals in the reduced card : cream of pumpkin soup, then beef tenderloin and half grilled marlin both served with mashed potatoes on our request. We drank glasses of fruity Côtes du Rhône. It was a fine dinner.More

...and if I lived near, I would be either stopping for supplies, wine, cheese, cold-cuts, pates, mustard, jams and fresh garlic or enjoying a deliciously prepared dinner, served on a wrap-around porch, of a recently remodeled plantation home...... with, did I already mention, lots and...lots of parking, with room to back up your car and not hit anyone. They also carry, what I would describe as modern Scandinavian style things for your kitchen and home.... not a lot, but more than enough to impress your guests and please or humor those close to you. The owner is a hard-working, classy, business-minded lady that is grounded into life and knows quality and loves to please. The quality of the dinner on the plate is ‘fine dining’, but the atmosphere is not pretentious. I think it all comes together quite magically.More

All the tables are located on the terrace and it can be a little breezy, though they do have canopies to protect against the wind . We made a late reservation and all table were booked. Service was good, professional and pleasant. I ordered fillet...de boeuf which was served with fries only, and when served the fries were cold. They reheated them, but by that time the meat had gone cold and when paying top prices, I do not expect to return a meal. May give them a second chance.More

Thank you for you comments . The breeze is indeed a problem that we have been trying to solve by over heating the plates ..so sorry for the inconvenience . Hope to see you again soon so we can make it up to you !
