Well priced. Crowded. Not sure what the crowd saw or ate. Service is poor and unfriendly. I guess it's popular enough and the only reasonably priced place in the area so no need for them to try.

Island time + French time means you're going to get relatively slow service and a bit of an attitude when you ask for the check, regardless of the spot. We beat the brunch crowd on a Sunday and were given a table despite not having a reservation. It was very good food, very pleasant to sit and listen to the... More

Do not go to Gloriette if you are under any sort of time constraint. But if you have plenty of time to wait for your food, it is a pleasant spot to wait. The bakes are outside under a variety of trees. The menu is very affordable for St Barth's. Come early and grab a lunge chair in the sand... More

Very nice location on the water. This is a popular place with the locals so parking can be a bit chaotic but its worth it. Its a casual place with great prices and quality food. I had the spicy green curry, chicken and a side of rice and french fires. We also had the cod fritters. Everything was phenomenal and... More

OK, the first thing we were told was that hamburgers and pizza's are only served at dinner. The lunch menu was more like a dinner menu. We ordered drinks and settled in at a table by the beach. The meal was definitely a pleasant surprise! The service is a bit disorganized, but when you want a relaxing lunch, just order... More

One of our favorites for lunch. Don't get there too late as specials will be gone. Order some rose, beer and relax with the ceviche, salads or fresh fish. Great cool vibe. Pizza is suppose to be the best for dinner on the island.

I had the grilled mahi mahi which was OK but a tad dry. The Creole sauce was nothing make any Creole sauce I've ever had before (more like an oil based sauce with onions and celery- not creamy or spicy in the least.). Husband's chicken salad was also ho hum. Friend's goat Cheese salad was interesting- fried ina thin phyllo... More

La Gloriette was the perfect spot for lunch. It appeared to be more of a local hangout rather than a touristy restaurant which was quite nice. You have the option to sit outside under the trees or on the deck which is a little more sheltered from the wind. The food was great here and was reasonably priced. The goats... More
