Go in the morning (8/9 am) and try one of their tuna, corn beef, or cheese stuffed pastries! $4 EC each.

Throughout soufriere we have found very friendly people on every corner... except in the purity bakery. They seem like they could care less about your business. There chicken samosas are very delicious you just got to deal with the disgruntled staff.

We were anxious to try some of the pastries mentioned in the reviews, but found little but sandwiches about 9 am on Monday morning. From other reviews, more pastries are probably available later in the morning/afternoon. The sandwiches were ok. This was one of the few places we visited in St Lucia where people were not welcoming. While this is... More

Tried the cinnamon buns (filled with St Lucian version, not typical but very good), coconut cake and some type of fruit "tart". Very dense pastry but very good. Have been there twice and paid two different prices for the same thing, so likely paid a tourist price, but still not expensive. Both times there before 11 am so a good... More

There are few places to get desserts, so we stopped in this city bakery. Bit was clean, and the staff was friendly. Though not usually a fan, we purchased fruitcake. It was delicious, and not at all the grocery store fruitcake in the US. All the items were tasty, but not very sweet as our American standard is an overly... More

Thought we would try here for something different while in town, it is a local a fare and was great to try something new, we were lucky enough to be there in the morning as there was still a reasonable choice available and all products looked good. The food was good, but what left a bad taste in our mouth... More

Had a good salt fish roll and fish burger for breakfast, and really enjoyed it. Saw fresh bread rolls and other interesting and appetising items which I hope to try.

Very good place to stop for a treat. Try the "bakes", a local version of donuts. Actually the best donut I had since mom passed away was from a local street seller selling them across the street. WOW! Light, not too sweet, not greasy at all. I look for her now every time I am in Soufriere.

My kids and I attempted to buy pastries mid-afternoon, but everything was sold out. Today we stopped by after our trip to the market. There was a variety of pastries and breads to choose from at 12 noon. The woman assisting us was not friendly ( she had the same attitude towards me at Deja Vu) therefore I can only... More
