Ask for Ruthie and you won't go wrong. Simple menu but always well delivered. Prices very reasonable. On the list of Must Do's at Bequia, especially if you're moored on the south side of the bay. Just tell the mooring boys you want to be near Whaleboner/Frangipani/Gingerbread/Fig Tree and you'll soon see the giant whale bones at the entrance.

situated right on waterfront along walkway from town - easy to find - all very relaxing. Great for sunset cocktails overlooking the bay and ferry terminal.

We were on a cruise ship so we had drinks only. The whalebone bar stools are great looking and really make this place stand out.

The restaurant is on the Belmont Trail. The food is very good, but the service was lacking. It took 30 minutes to get the bill. Service for the drinks was slow. It has more of a bar like atmosphere than a restaurant.

Great place for a drink, didn't eat here but the food looked fine. Local drinks reasonably priced. If you are thirsty occasionally need to go to the bar to get a drink, but it is the Caribbean :)

We love this place. It has a fabulous lcation on the Belmont Walkway with spectacular views of the harbour, and a cooling breeze coming in from the sea. The fish is so fresh that sometimes you literally don't know what it will be until you see the fisherman tying up at the jetty, and the rum punches are delicious and... More

We eat a lot of fish on Caribbean vacations and once in a while we desire a cheeseburger. WB's burger was lean and satisfying. I am unusually patient and can tolerate slow service but WB staff were particularly unhurried.

We visit the Whaleboner several times a year and are never disappointed with the great island fare Ruthie serves. Always prepared with loving care and the freshest ingredients, her food is absolutely authentic and tasty. Her simply wonderful callaloo soup and grilled lobster, leave one wanting to return time and time again If you are sailing in, bring her your... More
