I have been at Chaud on several business lunch occasions. This was another time maybe after a year. They get high marks for service and food presentation. The taste is not that fine at least in my opinion. Based on the visits with thus last one it appears that the chef favors a blend of fruit taste in food both... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant by another chef. We just loved it. The lamb and pork chops were so delicious and so was the dessert. The wine list was extraordinary, pricey yet we found an acceptable wine.

Everything about Chaud is....Chaud! Chaud in French means, hot, and I mean, from the ambience, choice of music, setting and most importantly food it is worth the wait. Hidden at the foothills of St. Anns, near to Port of Spain, Chaud offers what I would call Continental/Caribbean fusion. I am still dreaming of my beet and goat cheese salad. It... More

The service and staff at Chaud was world-class!!! Unfortunately, the food was not. While fine, in the world of epicurean excellence, the food was not.

Went there with a group of friends for Restaurant week TT 2016. For $400, which included appetizer, mains & dessert, we received a large amount for each of the portions - value for money. Parking maybe a bit conspicuous. Restaurant seems to have less seating in St. Anns when compared to when they were around the Savannah. Reservations highly recommended.

Had the opportunity to take my partner for a dinner in this excellent place. Everything was as expected... ambience, service and the food was splendid. Lamb was cooked perfectly and lobster was breathtaking with the mix of great flavors; desert was not behind of main courses and they surprised us with a wonderful detail. I will definitely recommend it and... More

This was a mid-week dinner with a reservation made a few hours prior to arriving. The ambiance and quiet are very conducive to good dining and the service was very attentive but not intrusive. I had the 5 Course tasting menu and it was delightful - every dish was beautifully presented, great tasting and easily enough for an adult, leaving... More

Chef Khalid Mohammed's Chaud Restaurant offers modern, international cuisine with a touch of Caribbean flair. Favourites include the guava barbecue shrimp and creamy cheddar grits with applewood-smoked bacon or a tasting of three tartares - yellowfin tuna, Atlantic salmon and Chilean sea bass. Chef Khalid prides himself on freshness, quality and creativity with entrees that include tamarind-glazed double-cut pork chop, and the maple-glazed double duck breast with apple butter. Be sure to end your meal at Chaud with some of the best desserts on the island.
