This was the nearest restaurant to where we stayed. On first glance the menu seemed ok but expensive and definitely not Tobago prices. The bar has an extensive cocktail menu- those based on rum vodka and whiskey. We did have two evening meals here (I'm not sure what we would have chosen on a third visit) and a lunch. The... More

A lovely restaurant, a little on the expensive side, but the food was delicious! We stayed at the Bacolet Beach Club so had our breakfast in the Havana each morning. There was plenty of choice each morning and the staff were always welcoming and friendly! Couldn't really complain about anything. We had a couple of evening meals and the food... More

The fruits were fresh and tasty, the fried egg plant for breakfast was very satisfying. Must get that recipe. Thank you sweetie pies for such great meals.

We had a really great lunch here after out visit to Bacolet Beach. Reasonable prices, good service and very easy to get to.

We stayed in the hotel opposite and had dinner here in our first week. Sorry to say it was over priced, poor quality food, with indifferent service. Definitely not fine dining. And in desperate need of a deep clean. We did not return. There are much better local restaurants in Scarborough (Salsa Kitchen, Blue Crab, Ciao Pizza) and elsewhere on... More

Attached to the Bacolet hotel. Nice space in different levels all open under a roof. Good and friendly waitstaff. Pricey menu comparable to NYC prices, but does not match up on flavors. The fried calamari were decent. I had the shrimp which was so-so. The jerk chicken was a smudge better. The ambience and service are great, the food not... More

Ambience is not bad at all. However the food was horrible. Presentation was horrible. The restaurant is infested with flies. Didnt enjoy the food. Thumbs up to staff, they were pleasant and welcoming.

Had 2 visits to the Havana during my recent holiday and whilst the food was excellent, the staff were opposite ends of the spectrum on each occasion. One of our party has several food allergies, and on the first visit was treated very well in that she only had to explain what she could and couldn't eat only once and... More

It is hard to say which of Havana Cafe's many, many problems is Problem Zero, but surely the primary rule for any restaurant ought to be that it should respect its clientele by serving decent food in a professional fashion at an appropriate price. On this visit Havana Cafe failed to offer either good food or decent service. Asking guests... More

While the ambience is nice, the food is below average and very expensive. Jerk chicken I'm sure is not fresh and was very rubbery and dry. They cover it in a bland sauce to try and cover the dryness. Ick! The burger was ok...fries were not fresh or they were day old. Our bill was $88 us for jerk chicken,... More
