We went last night because we try to add a few new places every year we visit St Croix. Adorable place, great atmosphere The server was very friendly and the food was good. We'll definitely be returning there.

The food is out of this world. The owner, Mike, puts a fresh island touch on everything. The local catch sandwich with a generous portion of fish and the carmelized onion and pineapple topping on delicious fresh bread is to die for. Friendly wait staff, fun local crowd and visitors.

Totally love this place. It has the local feel of "Cheers," but opens their doors to the tourists. Great food, great beer selection, and incredible staff. We've been back 3 times just to enjoy the atmosphere and community!

Located 3 blocks from the boardwalk in a blink and you miss it location, is a little jewel. Found on Trip Advisor with a note that the reviewer should have found it sooner. Tony & I wholeheartedly agree! We went on our last night and would have went several times. I couldn't decide between the tacos and the quesadillas, so... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to find us. We are off the beat and path a little. Glas to here you enjoyed the food and service so much. I'm thinking of changing the name to "Last Day Cafe" as we tend to get the majority of visitors on their last day in town. Hopefully you come back... More

Great place to have a drink before Art Walk. Special treat author Michael Bleriot selling his aviation books outside when we left. Picked up a signed copy.

Just stopped in and OMG according to my husband the hamburger he had was one of the best ever. I had the drunken shrimp which were delicious and many on the plate. We both asked for our fries crispy and they came crispy and hot! The place small but service excellent. Long bar area with tables along the opposite wall.

Thank you so much for coming back and visiting again. I'm glad the food was as great as the first time. I enjoy an amazing cheeseburger myself, so I happy to see the passion for it continues to show in everyone we serve. I look forward to your next visit with us. Mike More

Ate at Tavern 1844 again on our second trip to Christiansted. Loved it again. Wife's burger was excellent, and I branched out to try a shrimp quesadilla. Also good. First time I reviewed them, I described it aa a great hole in the wall. Nothing's changed, and that's a good thing.

Stopped in here recently for the first time and were delighted with our meal and disappointed that we hadn't discovered the place years ago! The menu offers quite a variety of burger-type meals including the usual beef, chicken, fish, and veggie, but each has a unique, flavorful combination or sauce. Other items beyond burgers can be had such as pastas... More

Cool, cozy and just plain good! reminded me of the No Name or O'Shucks both in PC Utah. Heard it is up for sale and would love to own it - great location. Will return to meet other new acquaintances in two weeks! Keep up the good effort, its not often you find little hide aways like the Tav
