Pretty decent restaurant in the middle of downtown. It was a smaller place but the level service was good. Please don't be in a hurry because they are not super fast but after all we're on island time. We order the oxtails long with cabbage the rice and the beans and another group of people at my party tried it... More

We stopped here on a jewelry store employee recommendation--WOWZA - so glad we did. Our entrees for lunch were amazing--the jerk excellent! The service was typical island time speed--so don't be in a huge hurry--I promise it will be worth the wait!

Just a block up from the main shopping street. Close to the Alex and Ani store. Great drinks and housemade rum punch by Lynette. Great conch, chicken (not too spicy jerk, curried or brown stewed which falls off the bone) and served w/sides(Mac n Cheese very good). Great prices and atmosphere with great service. We visited it twice while here.... More

We stopped here with a small tour group and it was absolutely outstanding. We had the jerk chicken and a ginger root drink. I will dream of eating this daily until I can come back. We are scheduled next February with a group of 15 and we will ALL be making the trip back to this restaurant to lunch. The... More

Glad we found this great little restaurant. Kind of off the beaten track. The food was delish, but the best part was the staff, especially Lynette! What a sweetheart! We appreciate you so much and also the introduction to Jose!

The wife and I found Trenchtown rock after a morning of drinking in St. Thomas. Needing some food, we ducked in here off of the Back Street (Wimmelskafts Gade) and were met with friendly faces and great hospitality! We ordered the conch fritters for an appetizer and braised oxtails with plantains and mac and cheese for our meal. Everything was... More

We had the Oxtail platter and the Curry Chicken. Both were outstanding. We loved eating local food in a local environment. The plantains, rice and peas as well as the cabbage sides were great. We were taken here by a private guide but were the only tourists in the restaurant. We truly got the feel of eating at a local... More

The curry chicken and jerk pork were both amazing. Great sides. Loved the caramelization on the plantains Sweet and delicious. Cheesy good Mac & cheese and the stewed cabbage was cooked perfectly. And our server Lynette was so knowledgeable and gracious. A must visit place for wonderful local food.

We visit Trenchtown every time we go to St Thomas and the food never disappoints. We were however disappointed this time with the fact that they were out of plantains as well as conch fritters - 2 of the items we look forward to the most. :(
