We were enjoying dinner and music on a Wednesday evening. We had just finished eating and had another drink on order but the owner approached us, asking us to relinquish our table for a party of 6 who were waiting. We were immediately made to...More

Well let me start out by apologizing personally and publicly to you. You are right, absolutely. I would only add that what was suggested was that I wanted to buy you drinks in the bar in order to accommodate a large party, and that it...More

We ate here twice during our trip, and rated the meals at the top of our list of favorites. The mahi-mahi, Cruz bay burrito, and pulled pork meals all had both excellent flavor and nice presentation. These meals were also better than many of the...More

This is a great place to have lunch when in Cruz Bay. The food is fresh and inventive. We love the quesadillas, burritos, stuffed pastry and, of course, the frozen lime-in-da-coconut drinks. Service is efficient and friendly. Portions are large and prices are reasonable.

Nice walk to Mongoose Junction[shops are open] and brunch. Breakfast Burrito can feed two, and drink at Brunch will keep you there all day, but I would still hike or hit the beaches.

Well it sounds like all in all, a good day. As to the burrito, nothing succeeds like excess. Thanks for the review and hope to see you again soon. Michael SDC Proprietor

We stopped in Sun Dog for a quick bite on the way to Frances. The breakfast quesadilla and burrito were very tasty and our service was good.

Thanks so much and you bet I'm grateful that things are moving forward. We were off the grid for 75 days and the restaurant and four months at my house-- Getting a hot shower every day has stopped feeling like a luxury item, and our...More

Mongoose Junction has many attractions, and Sun Dog is always good. The food is tasty, the beer cold, and cocktails not overpriced. Entertainment is a big draw for locals or even Kenny Chesney last Week. One can always see friends and make new ones.More

Sun Dog Cafe is a great casual dining option, and home to the Gecko Gazebo, our open air bar overlooking the gracious center courtyard of Mongoose Junction. A New York Times Travel and Leisure Pick for St. John, we serve lunch daily, dinner on weekdays, and brunch on Sunday. Don't Miss the Wednesday Night Jam, from 6 to pm, a great musical event with local and visiting talent. Welcome!
