I've been to this restaurant numerous times. Have loved everything about it and have referred many friends and family there over the years. I am saddened to have to write this new review and downgrade from 5 stars to 1. We were a party of 6, including two toddlers. When we arrived we were reminded that shorts were not allowed... More

I love the ambience here, and the rich history of this home turned restaurant. The service is top class. The food is great! As a vegetarian I had no issues with options. The wine cellar is impressive.

We loved our visit to Graycliff Hotel, Cigar Lounge and Chocolates, so much, we decided to return that eveining for dinner. We had no difficulty getting a same-day reservation, which was somewhat surprising. We arrived a little early, and were invited to enjoy drinks in the lounge. Service was top-notch and professional throughout. Menu options are traditional standards - I... More

Greycliff came so highly recommended, we were disappointed at the service. The food was excellent, however, the service left much to be desired. The waiters appeared to be tired and not much interested in being too pleasant while serving us. When I asked to have my after dinner coffee served in the Living Room to enjoy the beautiful music there,... More

The atmosphere was top notch as was the service. The filet was a great cut of meat cooked properly. Only negative was that my wife had a problem with her meal that once brought to the waiter' s attention was promptly fixed.

From the very second we stepped onto the property, to our last goodbye, this place and the people inside, are beyond amazing! First off, the building itself is absolute perfection, its simply amazing. Second, the staff was top-notch, so very nice, polite, helpful, attentive, warm & inviting. We felt like we were visiting friends at their home! Lastly, the food.....whoa,the... More

Beautiful property on top of the hill, lush grounds. Didn't have time to eat there, but will when I go back. Thought I was going back in time, elegant dining rooms. Interesting attached buildings, from Chocolate factory to Cigar factory, must walk around and view property.

A friend of mine suggested this iconic hotel for dinner. Wow! It did not disappoint. It's like stepping back in time! So, so , so relaxxxxxing. Had a cocktail in the lounge with great olives and peacefully quiet!! Nobody ever rushes you. It's idyllic! Like old England. Dinner was excellent. Get the butternut squash soup and the right-off-the-boat grouper in... More

I haven't tried the food of the restaurant, but the premises themselves are really beautiful, this building dates back to the 1700's and the Victorian architecture is a delight, specially the pool which according to the tour is the first in Bahamas and was hand painted.

We have a cognateque with a great number of museum pieces bottles. The Graycliff main house was built in 1740 by a reformed pirate. The breathtaking hand painted pool is the first one in the Bahamas and the ruins of the oldest church can still be seen. During the day a visit to our Chocolatier is a must and you can also take a chocolate complete tour of the factory.
