First off the location is killer. You can't beat food right off the ocean. Second, the food is actually really, really good. We tried the conch and the shrimp curry. I don't know if the location helps to make the food taste better but it doesn't hurt. Third, these are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The... More

Went there for the conch fritters. Overlooks a beautiful beach. Lots of friendly locals. We also had sands rattler. It's a pink grapefruit flavored beer. It's delicious. But more like a wine cooler.

The setting is great, the restaurant is right on the beach. My husband liked his conch burger and fries.

The view of this place is amazing! The beach is beautiful and you can walk out far into the water in shallow water which is great. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing about this place. The food is not so great. It is frozen, basic, expensive, and not very good, which I understand with where the restaurant is located.... More

Visited 1/15/2017. Went with friends for brunch. Had the grouper fingers with fries and a sands pink grapefruit beer. Unfortunately, there was a bee infestation due to the recent storm - the bees were all over us and our food, was not able to enjoy the atmosphere - but was able to eat my grouper fingers- excluding the fries -... The restaurant is built over decks right on the beach so the view is wonderful. The beach is long and very shallow--perfect for just chilling in the water. On the left side there is a natural rock ledge; if you go around that ledge, there's a nice beach--a little more private--on that side.

Restaurant opens onto a wide sandy beach. Water is shallow and there were no fish to see. Very nice restaurant with attentive service. Think I had coconut shrimp for lunch as well as a terrific tropical drink. Enjoyed my meal.

Banana Bay was recommended by a friend. We went there to spend the day at the beach and grab a bite to eat. We sat on the deck overlooking the beach (which is a GREAT beach, by the way). Within two minutes our waiter arrived and took our beverage order. When the drinks were delivered a few minutes later, he... More

The food was good, not great or out of the world. The service was quick and efficient. The prices are reasonable. But the best part is the beach. Its fantastic, serene and peaceful with incredible clear waters.
