Superb food in a beautiful and laid-back old inn. Gorgeous location in the midst of Snowdonia. Excellent and friendly staff. should NOT be missed.

Perhaps we caught it on a bad day. Service was friendly enough, but place was in poor repair. Drug awareness posters in toilets raised lots of red flags.

What a lovely home cooked sunday dinner , couldnt fault a thing was , plenty of everything to be had lovely pig in blankets , and plenty of vegetables and lovely choice of meats and nothing was to much for the staff !!!

Excellent food nice to see home cooked food cooked well . Good atmosphere very friendly locals I had the steak the wife had the home made lasagne and will be definately back again next easter .

The Cross Foxes, Trawsfynydd is situated in the heart of Snowdonia within easy reach of many outdoor activities including the mountain bike trails at Coed y Brenin and Blaenau Ffestiniog, fishing at Trawsfynydd lake and plenty of walking and hiking in the local mountains and countryside.Simon took over the hotel, which provides accommodation, food and drink in July 2012 and has made many improvements to the building and rooms and along with Lucie the chef has created a very popular menu which is highly recommended.
