We stopped here for an evening meal and we were very glad we did so. Great food and beer in a warm friendly atmosphere, try it next time you're passing.

Well worth the short drive along A470. Lovely bistro style bar & restaurant with roaring log fire. Reasonably priced excellent quality - and quantity - food. Good local beers.

Superb food in a beautiful and laid-back old inn. Gorgeous location in the midst of Snowdonia. Excellent and friendly staff. should NOT be missed.

Perhaps we caught it on a bad day. Service was friendly enough, but place was in poor repair. Drug awareness posters in toilets raised lots of red flags.

The Cross Foxes, Trawsfynydd is situated in the heart of Snowdonia within easy reach of many outdoor activities including the mountain bike trails at Coed y Brenin and Blaenau Ffestiniog, fishing at Trawsfynydd lake and plenty of walking and hiking in the local mountains and countryside.Simon took over the hotel, which provides accommodation, food and drink in July 2012 and has made many improvements to the building and rooms and along with Lucie the chef has created a very popular menu which is highly recommended.
