The Round House is an intimate restaurant above the crashing waves of the Atlantic in Bathsheba, Barbados. 4 of us enjoyed a meal of flying fish and shrimp and other island delicacies, while overlooking the ocean. A terrific evening.

During our recent stay in Barbados, we wandered over for dinner to the Round House. Prior to going, however, I checked online for dinner hours and learned that they were open Mon-Sat. from 6-10p.m. My husband and I walked through the balcony at 7:55 p.m....More

The food here is good but not great and overpriced for what you do get. Our lunch of two sandwiches, one chef salad, and one order of flying fish with standard side dishes with drinks cost $77.19 US dollars. The view is nice but not...More

We bravely rented a car (if you've ever navigated Barbados as a visitor you'll know what I mean) and toured the northern and eastern areas of Barbados, arriving in Bathsheba for a very late lunch at Round House. We arrived just before they were going...More

Food tasted good, but the look was fairly standard. The best part was the fantastic, rugged view of the ocean. The overall experience was lacking. I feel like the place *could* be very special.

We ate yesterday lunchtime at The Roundhouse and should have let the tatty exterior and furniture alert as to what was to come! The table we sat at ,although had lovely views, was falling to pieces and should have been thrown out years ago! We...More

Located in historic Bathsheba on the rugged east coast of Barbados, Round House has been a popular destination for locals and visitors for 150 years. With a colorful history as a train stop and longtime private residence, Round House today is one of the island's most beloved landmarks. The property offers commanding views of the Atlantic coastline, a panoramic vista of the iconic limestone rocks and thundering waves of Bathsheba, and an undisturbed stretch of beach studded with natural tidal pools just above one of the world's premier surf spots. Our bed-and-breakfast inn offers five architecturally-unique guest rooms, with unparalleled views and historic features intact throughout the completely original building. Our bustling restaurant uses only simple, fresh, locally-sourced ingredients for our menu served daily inside our dining room or outside on our decks overlooking the Atlantic, where you can put up your feet and unwind with one of the best views on the island.
