The couple who own the cafe are deaf and work extremely hard to make the business a success. The food is simple and homemade style. Beats any chain of restaurants hands down. The lady own lip reads and we had a lovely chat. All power...to this couple who work hard to make your meal experience a golden one. Go there and be delighted with the experience.More

This authentic Malaysian restaurant well worth the small deviation from the main thoroughfare. Run by an engaging hard of hearing couple, every effort is made to welcome visitors and ensure you are well fed. We enjoyed sweet lemon tea and flavoursome nasi lemak with chicken...curry.More

Saw much positive review and also the story about the old couple about this place and decided to give it a try and support them as our last stop before heading down. Arrived on a busy morning and seats in front of the stalls were...all occupied. Instead of allowing us to wait for an available table the male owner seemingly chased us away with his gesture. We went to the Malay stall next to it and sat down. Informed the Malay owner we are ordering from Yongteng and the Malay stall owner happily agreed (we ordered some food and drinks from Malay stall as courtesy too) However when returning to yongteng to order, the male owner turned even more hostile. Snatched away the menu in my hand and pushed me away (physically). Spoiled our morning and will not return ever.More

Very nice cafe with delicious food. Both elderly couple were friendly. We were able to communicate with their sign language. The nasi lemak with curry chicken is a must-try signature dish in this cafe. Strawberry pancake is also worth to try. Variety of food choices....We took our breakfast twice in this cafe and it's definitely recommended to have a visit.More

Very friendly elderly couple running the place. Other than the pancakes that most people recommend, I can also recommend then French toast with honey. Very fair prices despite being at a tourist hotspot. Special experience, went there every morning during our stay in Cameron Highlands.

We went here for breakfast twice and I saw that you could rate them on TripAdvisor. I thought let's give them a good rating since the owners are so friendly and the banana pancake was really good! I didn't expect them to be #2 on...TripAdvisor since it's a local restaurant with older owners 😅 but as you can read, definitely worth a visit and cheap prices too!More

The people who run this place are deaf, so it can happen that you have to write your order or question on a piece of paper. But they understand English, are very friendly and make good strawberry pancakes! Menu includes local dishes as well.
