During a recent visit to Ensenada on Carnival Cruise Line, at the recommendation from David of Valle Wine Life, we had the opportunity visit Hogaza Hogaza. Hogaza Hogaza is a bread and pastry shop in the tourist district of Ensenada serving the best breads and most exquisite pastries in all of Mexico. Don’t miss it when you are next in... More

Bread is amazing, spicy, and sweet. You can find a lot of variety of flavors there. Bread is always hot and tasty, you better try it!!

The only bakery that I know of in Ensenada that does European style bread reliably. Very small, but has a full line of breads rolls and pastries. Nicely inexpensive. In a little alley behind the big Soriano uptown. This is a bakery only!!!

I have walked by this small first street diner often to just pop in and buy one of their special pastry treats and a quick cup of coffee.... but a friend asked me to meet him there recently for breakfast..... it was great! Located downtown in the tourist shopping district it is often hard to find parking,,, but early mornings... More

The bread is wonderful but the desserts are to die for. I love getting their empanadas for breakfast. The filling are favourful and the pastry flaky. The olive bread is excellent and If you go early the bread from the day before is half off!

Best fresh-baked bread in Ensenada. The bakery is in the St. Tomas complex at 666 Miramar, and they've opened a cafe on 1rst street with seating.

I love love Hogaza Hogaza!! I've been trying their bread for years now and its consistently beyond expectation. They started as a specialty bread maker. I normally get their Mediterranean bread and bring it home to have with a seafood dish and some white wine. Its simply amazing, you can taste the freshness of the olives. Yummy. I haven't tried... If you're looking for pastry and/or craft bread (with olives, garlic, etc.) this is the best place to find it in all Ensenada. Pastries include: souffle, cookies, cupcakes, etc. Craft Breads include: baguette, croissants, etc. It is expensive, but the image of the pastries worth it. Not so much the taste, which I have found to be kinda poor. If... More
