The setting reminded me of the dining room without walls at a mountain summer camp I attend as a kid and outdoor covered mess halls on some military bases or in remote outposts I enjoyed as a young adult. :-) As others have noted here,...More

We were so excited to come here. After dining throughout the Valle de Guadalupe. we had heard over and over that this place was a must try. The place is beautiful and fun for the entire family. The food itself was the biggest letdown. We...More

My wife and I eat here for our first anniversary and were a bit wary about the hype after being disappointed at Chef Javier Plascencia's restaurant in San Diego. Boy, are we glad we didn't let that deter us! We ordered the octopus mini tostadas...More

The food and the view are both impressive!!!! The restaurant is an open air place of sorts. It has a roof but no walls so forget having the luxury of AC in the hot summer. You can see all the kitchen activity from the dining...More

Great food, try the borrego en caja china, the fresh seafood of the day. The freshly baked bread, european style (very crusty) is wonderful. On hot days the fresh cucumber or lemonade is wonderful. Nie slection of wine and beers. Great for lunch or dinner...More

Glad we had a tour bus to take us here (crossing the dry wash bed made the bus driver nervous, was afraid of getting stuck in the sand) and it was worth it. Very nice lunch. All outdoor seating, but on a great day it...More

Well, the bread, direct from the oven was excellent. The lamb, too many spices, salty, not good, Oh, expensive for the portion. The tuna tostada was very good. Pasta good as well, I only tried the sauce, for the rest was gone before I knew....More

We stopped there for lunch during our wine trip to Ensenada wineries. This place is amazingly decorated, and the service and food are of very high quality! I highly recommend it to everyone!

One of the best restaurants in the region. You need to ask for the Octopus and a bottle of the house wine.

Yes, they will cater to your vegetarian needs, they use only local farm grown produce, they carefully grow their own vegetables and whatever they don't grow, they buy from local farmers.

Hi, do you need a reservation to get a table for two on a Saturday in January? Just wondering how crowded you are in the winter. Looking forward to visiting your restaurant for the first time! Thanks. Tracy

Its nice to have a reservation but they are pretty accommodating, so you can just pop in if you don't have one. It is busy but there is a lot of space.

A media hora o cuarenta minutos de Ensenada. El problema seria el taxi porque no es una zona comercial donde se ubica el restaurante, es zona rural. Tal vez pidiendo al taxi que los espere ? Vale la pena !!
