This trip we are trying restaurants we haven't been to before, so Chuy's was on the list. Very friendly staff and good service. The Fajitas were excellent, Mexican Combo was good, and burgers were tasty. Free Clam appetizer was a nice touch. All in all a very good experience-and cheaper that Mickie D's in the US.

I have this rule of thumb: if the beans are good in any Mexican restaurant, the rest of the food will be excellent. Excellent place for breakfast. The chilaquilles were awesome. I prefer the chicken chilaquiles in green sauce.

Have gone there for many years. As an appetizer they always serve Clams & Tacquitos. Food is good. Limited menu, come for their fish and shrimp.

One block inland from the north end of the malecon. Chuy's is a brick unappealing structure that most gringoes would likely pass by. Do your self a favor and stop in. Try the seafood omelette and red chiliquiles. While the presentation isn't great, the food is. Primarily a locals joint, you'll be glad you gave a try. prices quite reasonable... More

The breakfast was delicious! The place is off the water but comfortable and clean. Good food and would go back again to try dinner.

They didn't have the shrimp dish with the ginger sauce. Or flan. But I think we were off season.. It was pretty quiet. I had the chili rellenos dish, which was great. We also had the fish of the day which was superb! The white wine was even good!

The service was great, the food was outstanding. It's a little place, not real fancy but clean. The prawns were fantastic, the steak was great, the rice was fine. I wish we'd have gone here on our first day instead of our last, because I would have gone back to try more of their dishes. The waitress didn't speak any... More
