This place has been a fixture in Tijuana for several Decades! at one time it was a great place to eat with affordable prices and a nice festive family atmosphere. Carnitas Uruapan was a cornerstone in the neighborhood where my husband grew up. We were surprised to find that it was open under a new name: LAS MORELIANAS. last time I was here the food was good and the service was good. They cook there carnitas the old fashion way, in a big copper kettle. they use every part of the pig and it tastes great. if your not in a hurry I recommend you go by there. listen to the music and enjoy the food. the locals... More

This is the hole in the wall that people should eat more often. Tradition to Mex. However be aware that the place is not the most beautiful restaurants

This is a charming "carnitas" (roasted pork) restaurant, out of the tourist areas of town. You won't find gringos hanging out here, but you will find delicious carnitas with plenty of trimmings.
